Terms
flipl.ink lets you make a simple page of links to share in your social media bios. It's run by Fheba Design in Ontario, Canada. By making or editing a page, you agree to these terms.
Your page and approval
Anyone can make a page. Each email address can make one. A new page stays hidden until you ask for approval and Fheba Design approves it. We may approve it or decline it, and we'll tell you why when we can.
What you can't put on a page
- Anything illegal, or links to it.
- Pretending to be someone else, or to be Fheba Design or flipl.ink.
- Hate, harassment, threats, or content that sexualizes minors.
- Adult content, scams, malware, phishing or spam.
- Content you don't have the right to share, such as someone else's photos or logo.
Your content
What you put on your page stays yours. You give Fheba Design permission to store it and show it on flipl.ink so your page works. You're responsible for what you add, and for the sites your links lead to.
The email sign-up block
A page's sign-up block sends visitors' email addresses to the Mailchimp or Kit account its owner connects. Page owners are responsible for their own list and how they use it, including following anti-spam law such as Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL): only send what people signed up for, say who it's from, and honour unsubscribes.
The lead form
A page's lead form lets visitors send their name and email address, and a phone number and message if the form asks for them. Each enquiry is emailed to the page's Managers (or to Fheba Design when the page has none) and kept in the page's Leads inbox for up to 12 months. Page owners are responsible for answering and handling leads lawfully, including privacy and anti-spam law: use what people send to reply to them, and nothing more unless they agree.
Declining and removing pages
Fheba Design decides what goes live under flipl.ink. We can decline a page, hide it, or remove it at any time, including when it breaks these terms. When we decline a page, we delete it and email you, with a reason when we can give one.
Free and Pro
Every page can be free. Pro is a paid plan for one page. It adds analytics and a monthly summary email, every look and the page's own colours and fonts, featured cards, link images, scheduled links, a call-to-action button, an email sign-up block, a lead form with a Leads inbox, QR codes for each placement, tracked in Analytics, and private pages behind a passcode, and replaces the “Create your own flipl.ink” button with a small “Powered by flipl.ink” link.
- Pro costs CAD $9 a month or CAD $90 a year. Sales tax is added on top where it applies.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Pro renews automatically at the end of each month or year until it's cancelled.
- A Manager of the page, or Fheba Design, can cancel at any time from Manage billing. Pro stays on until the end of the period already paid for, and then doesn't renew. We don't refund the rest of a period when you cancel.
- If a payment fails, Stripe tries the card again for a while and emails about it. Pro stays on meanwhile. If the payment still doesn't go through, the plan ends and the page goes back to Free, with its Pro settings kept.
- If we decline a new page that has paid for Pro, we cancel its plan and refund every payment in full.
- If Fheba Design gives a paying page Pro for free, we cancel its plan and refund the unused part of the period.
- If a page ends up with a second Pro plan by mistake, we cancel the extra one and refund it in full.
- When Pro ends, the page carries on as a free page. Your Pro settings are kept, just not shown, and come back if the page goes Pro again.
- If we change the price, we'll tell the page's Managers before it applies to their next renewal.
The service as it is
We work to keep flipl.ink running well, but we provide it, free or Pro, as it is, without promises that it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change it or stop offering it; if we stop offering Pro, we'll refund the unused part of any paid period. As far as the law allows, Fheba Design isn't responsible for losses that come from using it.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and of Canada. Questions are welcome through fhebadesign.com. See also our Privacy policy.
